Over the last ten years Lightmaker has managed to win prestigious globally recognised awards in several different projects including numerous British Academy BAFTAs, Adobe Max 2004 and 2005, Webby Awards People’s Choice Award 2007, Big Chip Sports Industry, a collection of FWA sites of the day and month, plus many more recognised achievements.
These awards have been achieved through the work carried out for clients by the names of Adobe, Microsoft, IBM, EDS, Electronic Arts, PlayStation, Sony Entertainment, Sony Pictures, NHS Blood and Transfusion, IKEA, JK Rowling, David Beckham, Robbie Williams, BBC, ITV, Orlando Magic and Manchester United.
Lightmaker has recently won the Favourite Website Award for its development of M Night Shyamalan personal website. This sites primary objective was to create an experience that truly reflects M Night’s style and personality. Given the sometimes dark and always shocking style M. Night brings to his movies we knew we had to do something special for this site. After long hours of brainstorming and weeks of pre-production we had finally developed a plan that we felt would truly honor M. Night's talents.
MORE INFOLightmaker won the Favourite Website Award in 2008 for its development of the Guinness World Records Game Microsite produced by TTGames. The game revolves around micro challenges and through the use of mini game and challenges on the web, Lightmaker emulated the fun instant casual gaming style of the offline game and integrated leaderboard stats from mobile users.
MORE INFOLightmaker won the Favourite Website Award in 2005 for its development of the Electronic Arts FIFA Street Microsite. Lightmaker recreated the game characters and showed off the acrobatic moves of the FIFA Street game using cutting edge 3D rendering of in-game assets.
MORE INFOLightmaker won the Favourite Website Award in 2005 for its development of the Sci and Eiods game Total Overdose. Lightmaker utilized in game assets online to bring the characters to life and created an immersive environment to explore the game features including unlockable content and minigames.

EDS Box was an experimental decision support environment that helped people solve complex problems and find new opportunities in existing relationships. Lightmaker brought this complex world to life utilizing rich environment immersion and creative flair.
MORE INFOLightmaker won the Favourite Website Award in 2005 for its development of the Nintendo Nintendogs microsite. Nintendogs was a game where you played with and trained your own virtual pet and Lightmaker brought this to life on the web adding community features and collectables.
MORE INFOLightmaker won the Favourite Website Award in 2004 for its development of Cartoon Network’s Virtual Townsville. Virtual Townsville utilized Lightmaker’s Total Media Technology to allow users to become their favourite Townsville character and interact with other characters online in a giant battle of good vs evil.
MORE INFOLightmaker won the Favourite Website Award in 2004 for its development of JK Rowling’s personal website. The JK Rowling site was a full Flash immersive experience which captured the magic of the Harry Potter world and allowed JK Rowling to communicate with her fans.
MORE INFOLightmaker won the Favourite Website Award in 2004 for its development of the Donkey Konga Microsite. Lightmaker were able to emulate the spirit of the popular Nintendo rhythm action game online with fun microgames set in the Donkey Konga island.
MORE INFOLightmaker won the Favourite Website Award in 2003 for creating the web experience of the popular Nintendo game Metroid Prime. Lightmaker demonstrated the key aspects of the game online allowing users to navigate through the Metroid Prime world and discover content associated with the game.
MORE INFOInnovative virtual world Contacts and Personals won the Favourite Website Award back in 2002. Contacts and Personals was a UK Chat site that utilized Lightmaker’s Total Media Technology creating an immersive experience that included your own designed chat rooms, integrated instant messaging and video conferencing.
