Over the last ten years Lightmaker has managed to win prestigious globally recognised awards in several different projects including numerous British Academy BAFTAs, Adobe Max 2004 and 2005, Webby Awards People’s Choice Award 2007, Big Chip Sports Industry, a collection of FWA sites of the day and month, plus many more recognised achievements.
These awards have been achieved through the work carried out for clients by the names of Adobe, Microsoft, IBM, EDS, Electronic Arts, PlayStation, Sony Entertainment, Sony Pictures, NHS Blood and Transfusion, IKEA, JK Rowling, David Beckham, Robbie Williams, BBC, ITV, Orlando Magic and Manchester United.
Lightmaker received the Big Chip award for Best Use of Visual design at the Big Chip Awards in 2007 for its development of the Liberty website. Liberty turned to Lightmaker in order to translate the experience of shopping in the top-end London store to the web. Big Chip judges commented "an almost tactile experience that perfectly matches the brand."
