We have added many features to enhance the Man Utd site, originally launched in 2006. The Webby Award-winning site is now more content rich and provides a smoother user journey, getting people to engage with content quickly and efficiently, to improve page views in key areas, and ultimately provide greater ROI. We have also developed translated versions of the site for many countries in Asia including Korea and Japan, increasing their reach to fans on a global stage. We continue to work closely with the Media team and have an established partnership which is going from strength to strength.
Lightmaker have launched Chelsea Football Club's Bluewing website to showcase its meetings and events facilities. The site primarily showcases the venue and its versatility, as well as the promotion of the restaurants, hotels and spas available to delegates.
Our Strategy team worked with Chelsea Bluewing in defining the site's key online objectives, Key Performance Indicators and onsite Search Engine Optimisation strategy. The primary objective was to create a website that represented the excellence of the venue itself whilst being fully optimised for Search Engine visibility, driving an increase in venue enquiries and online bookings. With this key objective in mind we created a site that balanced SEO, creativity and user experience.
Lightmaker worked with the Organ Donation and Transplantation Directorate of NHSBT on the development of the Wall of Life website and widget.
As part of a drive to reach and encourage people to join the NHS Organ Donor Register, NHSBT had an innovative vision to create a Wall of Life; a wall of thousands of photos of organ donation supporters, piecing together an image of a transplant recipient.
There are plans to develop subsidiary websites for the Wall of Life campaign specifically targeting NHS staff, MPs and students.
