Lightmaker’s work for Paddy Power has earned recognition at the 2014 Social Buzz Awards by winning the Best Blog category. The awards held at the London Marriot Grosvenor Hotel on 27 November 2014 reward the best in UK social marketing.
Paddy Power took home 5 awards at the ceremony including Best Socially Responsible Initiative, for its Rainbow Laces campaign, In-house client team of the year, Best use of Twitter and Best Integrated Campaign for Rainbow Laces.
To tie in with their key business drivers, Paddy Power’s blog was designed to be a tool for customer acquisition, to drive traffic to the main Paddy Power site by presenting interactive content, articles, GIFs, videos, audio, promotions, live match commentary and other features to their audience in unique and innovative ways. Lightmaker implemented Unica tracking and Google Analytics to measure this success.
