Lightmaker is excited to announce that it has launched three new websites for Cherokee Nation Entertainment. The project was a collaborative effort between Lightmaker and Red Square Gaming, which works with Cherokee Nation Entertainment, as well as many other gaming organizations in the U.S.
Cherokee Nation, based in Catoosa, OK, is the largest Native American tribe in the United States, and hold a position as one of the leading businesses in casino entertainment ownership in the U.S. The three new websites launched include Hard Rock Casino Tulsa, Cherokee Casinos, and Cherokee Star Rewards.
These new sites utilize a responsive design, allowing users to have an optimized experience through desktop browsers, tablets and mobile devices. As a large portion of traffic to the CNE sites continues to generate from mobile devices, the new responsive sites will capitalize on users who are looking for an anywhere, anytime digital experience.
All three of the sites are built on the open-source content management system, Umbraco, which allows the Cherokee Nation Entertainment team to have one CMS controlling content for multiple concert venues, casinos and promotion channels.
The intense Quality Assurance process was supported by Shachar Schiff, Founder of Bad Testing, who helped prepare the new websites under a tight deadline.
This is not the first time Lightmaker and Red Square have worked together. In February 2013 our agencies launched “ValenVine” which was an interactive social campaign focused around Valentine’s Day and Twitter’s recently acquired Vine application.
