Laat t zien: Dutch Microsoft recruitment

In coorperation with KSM and 7 Causes, Lightmaker Amsterdam developed the front end of the new Dutch Microsoft recruitment internet site: Laat t zien. The site is the first internet site in the Netherlands completely built in Silverlight. On this site, employees talk about their life and work for Microsoft. The front-page is a huge video wall built in Silverlight, where movies about Microsoft employees are randomly played. Another Silverlight feature is the tag cloud. Here, people can click the word that they associate the most with work. By clicking the word the visitor will see how many people associate the same word with work.

Silverlight offers a great visual experience displaying the microsoft employees on the video wall. Windows media and Silverlight are a great combination to develop a unique recruitment site. Visitors can apply for a job and meet their future colleagues at the same time.
