The NHSBT Hospitals & Science site has been redeveloped to provide information for Clinical and Scientific professionals, supporting Blood Transfusion in hospitals and the research community.
The focus of the development was on usability and accessibility, and implementing this across the 500+ page website. Taking into consideration the extensive guidelines from the NHS, the re-launched site has been reviewed, re-structured and given a much clearer and consistent experience.
The site has also been enhanced with the introduction of the "emergency notice board" which is CMS driven and allows NHS staff to communicate regulations on emergency situations to all visitors. This was produced in close consultation with NHS Blood & Transplant IT.
