Lightmaker have been working with the NHS Blood and Transplant (NHSBT) (who manage the National Blood Service) for the last 4 years. The site provides users with access to everything they would ever need to know about giving blood, blood stock levels, how your donation can help, press campaigns and their touching Amazing Stories.
Initially we were commissioned to redevelop blood.co.uk and establish a new online identity that would support the work of NHSBT. Since this date Lightmaker have been exclusively retained by NHSBT and have provided consultation on maintaining the consistency of the NHSBT brand whilst spreading the "Give Blood" message. This includes the day to day management of the site content, multiple domain management, production of information and reports, conformance with NHS Web Guidelines including accessibility and usability standards, and ensuring that NHSBT make best use of the technologies available.
