Lightmaker have continued their long standing relationship with NHSBT by re-designing and re-skinning the cluster of NHS Blood and Transplant (NHSBT) websites.
The Give Blood website was launched simultaneously with five micro sites in November 09 – A new identity for ‘Bone Marrow, Cord Blood, Platelets, Tissue Donation and Tissue Services‘ was created, making sure that each site had its own individuality, but keeping the design consistent throughout.
The primary objective for Give Blood is to encourage users to enrol to donate. The TV advertising campaign’s end message drives users to visit blood.co.uk, where the user then types in their postcode to find a local session to give blood.
This was a challenging project, with tight deadlines, which Lightmaker achieved by creating a well designed and well thought out concept which has been implemented across all sites.
