The Bottom Quest
 

The Bottom Quest is part of the Spongebob world and is set in the midst of the deep sea. It has been developed to promote and add a viral element to Nickelodeon's Bikini Bottom Quest.

This Flash experience has been used to support the TV stunts which are being shown through August and September, between programmes. The user is able to take control of a yellow submarine to navigate and explore the depths of the ocean with a number of games along the journey and live leaderboards.

Users are challenged to spot inhabitants of Bikini Bottom along the way, recording progress by taking photos and entering them into a log book. These can then be passed on to friends; once all items are collected the user is entered into a competition to win a giant Spongebob.

These elements of the site create stickiness and a desire for users to revisit again and again. This very successful project has been delivered on time and on budget.
