Lightmaker have launched Chelsea Football Club’s Bluewing website to showcase its meetings and events facilities. The site primarily showcases the venue and its versatility, as well as the promotion of the restaurants, hotels and spas available to delegates.

Our Strategy team worked with Chelsea Bluewing in defining the site’s key online objectives, Key Performance Indicators and onsite Search Engine Optimisation strategy. The primary objective was to create a website that represented the excellence of the venue itself whilst being fully optimised for Search Engine visibility, driving an increase in venue enquiries and online bookings. With this key objective in mind we created a site that balanced SEO, creativity and user experience.

Each venue can accommodate several types of events (i.e. banqueting, conferences etc), so a 3D fly-through was created to showcase the way in which room layouts can be changed to meet the clients’ needs. The 3D fly-through created by Lightmaker’s 3D and vector animation team recreates the flexibility of Bluewing’s venues, giving the user access to the various suites available.

Ultimately, we have a very happy client, who loves the site and has promoted it on ChelseaFC‘s websites in the UK, USA, Russia, Japan and China. Chelsea FC’s Head of Hospitality said, “We’re really proud of the quality and diversity that Stamford Bridge has to offer as a venue. Our online presence now equals the excellence of the venue itself and we hope it will be a helpful tool for all current and prospective customers”.
