Lightmaker launch the first of three projects this year with Bacardi Global brands. This new site is a phase one launch in the US market only.
A Lightmaker Content Management systems powers a dynamic Flash site with detailed 3D environments designed to portray the tone of voice that Bacardi want the consumer to associate with the Flavors brand.
A 3D drink mixer tool provides stickiness to encourage users back to the site, as well as providing the user with the ability to quickly search for their favourite drink and see it poured into the correct glass.
Although the site is developed in Flash it has the ability to update the browser’s page title and URL so users can bookmark a page and return to that bookmark. The Legal Drinking Age entry page has been integrated in such a way that when returning to the site after book marking a specific area of the site, you still need to pass through the legal drinking age page.
The browser back button functionality has also been enabled in the flash to move the user back through their recorded history.
