Lightmaker have partnered with Arnold Clark Automobiles, Europe’s largest independently owned motor dealer, to launch a viral game to support this year’s Real Sale campaign.

Every year Arnold Clark create a viral game which is widely distributed and played by 100,000’s of people. This year it has been tied in with a Scottish school initiative which gives pupils the opportunity to create the concept and help influence the game’s development.

Arnold Clark chose Lightmaker to be part of the judging panel and to build the winning entry of the Arnold Clark Schools Challenge 2010. There were over 100 entries to narrow down and the winning game was announced as ‘Arnold’s Paintball CARnage’. Lightmaker organised for the winning team ‘The Boys’ to visit the UK office to see how their winning storyboard was to be transformed into the final game.

The concept of the game is simple but addictive…the user shoots each target (which appears on the cars) with the colourful paintballs and is awarded with the best discounts! The more targets that are hit the higher the user’s final score. There are several obstacles to overcome and incentives for extra time and points.

The game allows players to submit their entry to a leader board and share their score with friends via Facebook, so get involved and see if you can top the leader board!
