
Lightmaker have been working with the NHS BT (formerly National Blood Service) for the last 4 years. The site provides users with access to everything they would ever need to know about giving blood, blood stock levels, how your donation can help, press campaigns and their touching Amazing Stories.
Initially we were commissioned to redevelop blood.co.uk and establish a new online identity that would support the work of the NHS BT. Since this date Lightmaker have been exclusively retained by NHS BT and have provided consultation on maintaining the consistency of the NHS BT brand whilst spreading the "Give Blood" message. This includes the day to day management of the site content, multiple domain management, production of information and reports, conformance with NHS Web Guidelines including accessibility and usability standards, and ensuring that NHS BT make best use of the technologies available.
