Liberty is a store of sheer beauty, more than simply shopping, it’s an experience, an experience that people from all over the world come to lavish in. It’s a magical store with top-end designer products, exquisite one-off furniture, and surprises at every turn.
Lightmaker answered Liberty’s needs by creating a website that held up a mirror to the store, giving everybody a chance to glimpse behind the doors online. From the beautiful products and store areas, through to the Press and Careers areas of the site, there wasn’t a nook or cranny of the store that wasn’t represented on the site. Lightmaker’s creative solution to the new site has allowed any user, regardless of location or language to truly feel the warmth of the tones, admire the extremity of the old architecture, and become enthralled by every detail, product and element available.
The site is a hybrid of HTML and Flash, created in order to cater for accessibility purposes, with all the images and text being updated by the client via a Lightmaker CMS solution.
“Everyone involved in the Liberty website project has been thrilled with the results. Very rarely do websites genuinely reflect the company they represent; however I think we have achieved this and more. Lightmaker has effortlessly interpreted the changing image of Liberty and given it a context to rival our offline presence. I could not be more effusive in my praise of the Lightmaker team, and the efforts to complete the project according to our timelines and specifications.” Alex Christopher, Liberty Online Marketing Manager
