
Lightmaker have worked with EA to create a campaign website to support the launch of Harry Potter & The Order of the Phoenix. An experiential experience has been created which takes users on a journey through the magic of Hogwarts. The campaign is part of the wider marketing drive ‘If only school was more like Hogwarts’ and one of the key objectives of the brief was to demonstrate the authenticity of the game to the film.
Authenticity was certainly recreated in the website as users are required to practice and cast spells across the site in order to unlock content. Hogwarts was recreated in our 3D studio from assets supplied and there is a narrative journey to accompany the user as they move through Hogwarts.
Other features include several DS mini games, integration with the Wizarding Widget and content that has been localised for 18 territories.
