Lightmaker has developed a 3D Virtual World community where artists and music fans come together. Artists are given the opportunity to compete in the GlobalStage contest which can propel them onto the international stage. A unique platform has been developed to allow global broadcast of local events through the community. The crowd in the venue is not the only ones hearing the artist; the whole world is invited in.
Besides being a place for artists to gain exposure, the GlobalStage community is also a great place for music fans to meet and hang out with one another. The community members can create their own venues, broadcast themselves on webcam and chat with friends. The best part if the community doesn't stop at the keyboard, but extends to GlobalStage venues around Europe.
