Lightmaker created an application for thefa.com which encourages user participation in, and a celebration of the 125th year of the FA Cup. The Squad selector is based on a shortlist of 125 top FA Cup players and from this list the user can view player stats and select their all time favourite players and team. The application is highly visual with a replication of a football pitch, FA Cup player subbuteo pegs in the colour of their team strip and an FA Cup.
Other features include ‘email a mate' functionality and the application has also been fully integrated with the FA's database of users.
