Lightmaker have been awarded the FWA Site of the Day Award for the SCI Games title, Total Overdose for Thursday 26th May 2005. The microsite introduces players to the uber-cool characters and gaming environments that are representative of the Total Overdose gaming experience.
FWA comment that “Lightmaker strike again with another seamless multimedia web production that boasts immense attention to detail and one that is sure to hit the target audience full in the face”.
The unique Total Overdose microsite is packed with different features including the integration of a character from the game taken directly into the microsite environment. The character (Ram – AKA Ramiro Cruz) performs a series of actions throughout the users time on the site such as straightening the crocked homepage sign, spinning a gun and tapping his finger on his arm. The user can also collect hidden Loco Moves which provide access to additional site features and game footage.
