In support of worldwide film releases, Disney Home Entertainment conduct Roundtables (or “Junkets” in film speak) to allow groups of press members to interview talent and film professionals.
Lightmaker designed and developed a complete end-to-end platform that enables Disney Home Entertainment to conduct these Roundtables in a virtualized, online environment.
The platform allows Disney to reach a worldwide audience in a timely and much more cost effective manner than face-to-face meetings.
The platform utilizes a moderated chat format, combined with a media player capable of utilizing adaptive bit rate streaming, as well as support for live video feeds.
