MORE THAN ONE WAY

Last week saw an exciting new section launch on the Diploma’s website. MOBO award winning rapper, Kano, has partnered with DCSF to launch his new track in support of the Diplomas campaign. With his new single ‘More than one way’, released on 11th January, Kano has given Diploma students from all lines of learning an opportunity to get involved behind the scenes at the video shoot and to showcase the work they do, celebrating what they can achieve in their chosen subjects.

Through exciting hands-on experience, like working on the production of Kano's new music video, the students enjoyed a great opportunity to bring learning to life, whether it was shadowing the film crew, preparing a health and safety proposal or measuring energy use. Lightmaker also attended the shoot, mentoring the IT students and collecting assets to be used on the site. The website includes an interactive Flash environment from ‘behind the scenes’ where the user can access video footage and a photo gallery taken directly from the shoot, along with free downloadable wallpapers. The Diploma site is also the only place where the track can be downloaded for free.

The campaign is being supported by a TV advert which drives users to the website to download the track and find out more about the Diploma scheme.
