Debenham's virtual store front

The Lightmaker Manchester office launched an interactive flash piece for Debenhams, as part of their holiday campaign, based on the idea of "Christmas Fun." The task was to replicate the store front display of the flagship Oxford Street shop. The theme is a magical place where teddy bears come to life at night and get involved in all sorts of mischievous adventures. Lightmaker was able to create an immersive, 3D interactive microsite on a tight timeline and from scratch.

Debenhams shoppers are introduced to a beautiful rendering of the store's famous display window. The concept is based on bringing a feeling of fun and play with a Flash piece that mirrors the store front theme. The interactive environment allows users to join the fun. Shoppers can try and make the teddy bears play the Debenhams Christmas tune by matching up the instruments with the correct teddy as well as several other games starring the bears. Besides the games the site will lead shoppers to Debenham's merchandise and sparkling, glowing roll-overs help add to the Christmas warmth.
