FWA Award for FIFA Street

Lightmaker have been awarded the FWA Site of the Day Award for FIFA Street for Monday 2nd May 2005. The microsite provides gaming fans with a unique and explorative interface which brings the attitude and street culture of the Electronic Arts game to life online.

FWA showcase websites which use cutting edge technology, together with inspirational ideas, that lead the way for future generations and Lightmaker's work on the FIFA Street project was seen as ‘A highly interactive, immersive and informative multimedia surfing experience'.

The microsite is packed with different features that can be accessed by navigating around the Amsterdam Street football pitch environment. It introduces the user to the culture of freestyle football as well as encouraging on-the-ball flare and individual style.

Lightmaker work with Electronic Arts on a regular basis and this award adds to the Macromedia Site of the Day Award for 26th April 2005 for FIFA Street.
