Yamaha Electronics UK appointed Lightmaker to create a stylish new site through which to showcase their wide range of high quality audio and video components.
The site, which was officially launched on Tuesday the 17th May, is geared towards the extensive range of products that are available as well as directing users to their nearest dealer. It contains loads of product information, the user can register their product online, access the Yamaha technical support team and download user manuals and software guides.
The site is supported by a Content Management System which will allow Yamaha Electronics to update products and features on a regular basis, maintaining a fresh look and feel as well as ensuring the customer always has the very latest information.
Jeremy Curtis from Yamaha Electronics (UK) commented "The Lightmaker team has delivered an excellent web site, on time and in keeping with the brief. They have responded extremely well to all the challenges we threw at them; first class."
Paul Davey at Yamaha is responsible for the day to day running of the web site and works closely with Lightmaker to deploy various elements, tweaks and enhancements as well as using the Content Management System.
Lightmaker developed a site which is effortless to navigate and beautiful to look at. Throughout the site there is a striking use of imagery, and elements of product animation allow the user to view things from a number of different angles.
Lightmaker are delighted with the end result ‘Yamaha are recognised as the standard bearers of fine quality in the products they produce and the launch of this site sees this commitment transfer online'.
