Lightmaker has received further recognition for its excellence in web design. The Donkey Konga microsite, developed for Nintendo Europe, has been awarded the Macromedia Site of the Day, 4th - 6th December 2004.
Macromedia recognizes, through the Site of the Day awards, websites which have strong visual designs, superior functionalities, and innovative uses of Macromedia products.
Lightmaker worked with Nintendo to develop a microsite which would provide a unique, entertaining and interactive experience that encourages users to hunt for information placed throughout the site. Set on Konga Island, the microsite is navigated by playing different levels of Donkey Konga's training sessions, recreating the navigation experience from the game, keeping users immersed in the site until they have accessed all areas and collected the "Bonus Features".
This is Lightmaker's 5th Macromedia Site of the Day Award.
